Olivia Shekleton is the Executive Manager of Housing and Support Services at Home Base (formerly Colony 47), a Tasmanian non-denominational not-for-profit organisation aiming to end youth homelessness, operating since 1973. Olivia holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy.

With over 10 years experience working on the frontline and leading the homelessness response for Home Base in southern Tasmania, Olivia is passionate about listening to young people and using their ideas and experiences to develop innovative community solutions to meet the needs of young people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. Born and raised in Tasmania, Olivia has witnessed whole-scale change when it comes to the experience of homelessness in the state and is passionate about ensuring the community returns to truly viewing housing as a human right, and homelessness as a whole-of-community failure.
