With almost a decade of experience as a dedicated case manager in Anchor's Homelessness Support Services, Leanne Moody has developed a deep passion for providing holistic support to individuals and families in need. Over the years, she has honed her skills in listening to her clients, assessing their needs, developing case plans, and coordinating supports and services to ensure optimal client outcomes.
Leanne's expertise extends beyond case management, with a strong focus on families and children. In previous work as an education support worker in primary schools' she worked closely with educators and families to ensure identified children had best possible support to thrive academically. Leanne has a Bachelor of Social Work and has completed post-grad studies in Family Therapy which have paved the way for her to offer guidance, fostering healthier relationships and creating more positive environments for growth and communication within families. Leanne brought these skills and insight into her recent role of Specialist Homelessness Children's Practitioner in Anchor's pilot program that provided individual support to children and young people presenting to Homelessness services as a member of a family group.
Her compassionate approach, coupled with her knowledge and experience allows Leanne to navigate complex situations with empathy and professionalism, empowering individuals and families to overcome challenges and achieve long-term success.
