Ollie (he/him) is a Peer Worker at Melbourne City Mission (MCM) working in the Amplify: Specialist Family Violence program. He uses his lived experience to walk alongside young people in their journeys through the service and advocate on both individual and systemic levels.
Ollie sits on several advisory groups both within and outside of MCM, working across intersectional issues impacting young people including homelessness, mental ill-health, disability, alcohol and other drugs, and family- and sexual-violence. He also leads the Frontyard Youth Action Group (YAG) and is passionate about empowering other young people to be heard in the services and systems that support them.
