Paul McDonald is the Chief Executive Officer of Anglicare Victoria, the state's largest provider of foster care, family welfare, and youth support services. He is also the founding Chair of Home Stretch. Previously, he served as Deputy Secretary of the Children, Youth and Family Division in the Department of Human Services for the Victorian Government, overseeing Child Protection, Youth Justice, and Family and Domestic Violence Programs. Paul has chaired several nationally significant committees, including one on Petrol Sniffing, and is the former chair of the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare. He led the national 'Home Stretch' campaign, extending the age of Out of Home Care from 18 to 21 years across Australia. In 2020, he won the National Pro Bono 'Influencer Award' for his role in the Home Stretch campaign. Paul is also the Patron of the National Youth Workers Association.
