Tegan Haslam
Program Coordinator
Footprints Community Limited
Tegan Haslam has spent the past 12 years working in the homelessness sector, with a strong focus on crisis accommodation for youth, young mothers, and adult women. Passionate about breaking the cycle of homelessness, she is a strong advocate for equitable support tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Since October 2023, Tegan has been the Coordinator of Footprints Community Housing Older Women's Support Service (HOWSS), leading a team that provides specialised support to women aged 50 and over, as well as First Nations women aged 45 and over, across Queensland. She also oversees the Stand Up Step Out (SUSO) service, which operates across the Moreton Bay and Redlands regions, offering marginalised individuals and families access to hot showers, fresh laundry, nursing care, and—just as importantly—a friendly chat over a cuppa.
With a deep commitment to client-centred care and empowering both her team and the women they support, Tegan is dedicated to creating pathways out of homelessness and towards stability.
